Ting Hsin PMI Group
AI-Powered Network Security Operations Upgrade Project
Client Introduction
As the materials business arm of Ting Hsin International Group, Ting Hsin PMI Group runs eight business divisions covering packaging materials, grain & oil, starch and freeze-dried food, with 37 factories across China and Southeast Asia. Its under-10-member security O&M team manages cross-regional network security for all factories, facing severe pressure from massive daily alerts.
Pain Points
Before deploying SAI, customers from pharmaceutical, manufacturing and government sectors all faced common bottlenecks in traditional security operations, with specific pain points as follows: For Ting Hsin PMI Group Massive alerts with limited manpower: Around 4,000 daily alerts are converged from 37 factories to the headquarters, far exceeding the processing capacity of the small O&M team. Low manual analysis efficiency: It is difficult to manually distinguish false positives, probing attacks and real intrusions, leading to frequent missed detections and delayed response. Unstandardized O&M management: Daily inspection and risk investigation rely on manual work with no standardized processes, bringing high management difficulty. Multi-brand device data silos: Diverse security device brands and models across factories produce data in inconsistent formats, hindering unified management and analysis. Lack of proactive defense capabilities: No regular penetration testing, phishing simulation or other proactive tools to identify potential risks in advance. Occupied core work focus: O&M personnel are trapped in trivial alert verification, with no time for core work such as security system optimization and risk prediction.
Products & Solutions
The customer adopted Sinovatio Security AI (SAI) Full-Scenario Security Operations Solution to build an intelligent, unified security operation system. The solution centrally connects alert data from security devices across all branches and sites, and leverages LLM combined with multi-source threat intelligence to realize automated alert analysis, noise reduction and classification. It is embedded with dozens of AI agents for penetration testing, phishing simulation, high-risk port/service & weak password detection and more, to standardize and automate end-to-end security O&M workflows. For scenarios with massive alert volume such as government institutions, the solution can be deployed in combination with Sinovatio AISOC (AI Security Operations Center) for two-level processing: AISOC first performs initial aggregation, deduplication and filtering of massive alerts, before SAI conducts in-depth LLM-powered analysis and risk judgment.
