Li Zhongjun, Mayor of Nanjing, Visits Sinovatio to Inspect and Guide Its Work on Industry-Academia-Research Collaboration

On July 3, Li Zhongjun, Mayor of Nanjing, carried out a special follow-up on the handling of proposals raised by deputies of the Municipal People's Congress, and paid an on-site visit to Nanjing Sinovatio Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Sinovatio") for inspection and guidance. Tan Jian, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, joined the visit.
During the visit, Mayor Li Zhongjun toured Sinovatio and learned in detail about the company's technological innovation, product applications, and talent team building in the cybersecurity field, and held in-depth exchanges with Ling Dongsheng, Chairman of the company, and Wang Mingyi, General Manager.
Mayor Li encouraged the company to seize market opportunities, leverage Nanjing's advantages in science, education, and talent, continuously increase R&D investment, and steadily enhance its core competitiveness. He hoped that Sinovatio would keep deepening its work in the cybersecurity field, strengthen school-enterprise collaboration, boost product innovation and R&D, and build a solid intelligent security defense for the digital era.
The visit was centered on a proposal raised by deputies of the Municipal People's Congress: "establish a mechanism of 'enterprises proposing problems, universities providing solutions, and government providing support' to accelerate the commercialization of university research outcomes and cultivate new quality productive forces." Mayor Li noted that the roles of enterprises, universities, and the government should be better leveraged, enterprise-led in-depth industry-academia-research integration should be continuously strengthened, and the transformation of research outcomes into practical applications should be accelerated.
Sinovatio will continue to be driven by technological innovation, deepen industry-academia-research collaboration, and build on its strengths in fields such as cybersecurity and data operations.
